The 1324STK combines the key features of Barreto’s larger track trenchers with a compact frame and 1,085-pound operating weight for improved maneuverability. Its independent floating track system uses undercarriage idlers that move with the terrain, keeping more of the track in contact with the ground to reduce ground pressure and increase traction. The moving middle and rear idlers also act as suspension, providing smoother operation over rough and uneven terrain. A hydraulic cooler with an integrated fan helps regulate oil temperature, while protected yet easily accessible components help simplify maintenance. Electric start is standard. Built for reliability and low maintenance, the 1324STK is designed to stay productive in demanding conditions while keeping operating costs low.

The 1324STK features Barreto’s Adjustable Trenching Controls (ATC), which use durable rod linkage instead of cables. The ATC allows the operator to adjust the trenching speed of each track independently while on the move. This independent track control provides effortless steering and helps the operator maintain a straight trench when working across uneven terrain.
